El grupo operativo Gocitrus llevará a cabo dos Jornadas divulgativas, que tendrán lugar el 18 de junio en Valencia y el 17 de julio en Huelva.
El objetivo general del proyecto GOCITRUS es la identificación y elección adecuada de variedades de cítricos como la base principal para una correcta gestión y planificación varietal y de la producción. Con ello se pretenden mejorar las perspectivas de futuro de la industria citrícola. Para ello se prevé crear una unidad de identificación varietal de cítricos basada en un protocolo inequívoco apoyado en la base de datos genómicos Citruseq. También se va a diseñar una APP que sirva como herramienta de apoyo a la hora de seleccionar una variedad, considerando las características particulares de cultivo y facilitando una información objetiva y adecuada.
La jornada ‘Identificación y gestión varietal de cítricos mediante herramientas innovadoras’, organizada por los miembros del Grupo Operativo GOCITRUS, tendrá lugar el día 18 de junio a las 10:00 horas en el Centro de Experiencias de Cajamar (camino del Cementerio Nuevo, s/n, Paiporta – Valencia).
La jornada ‘Enfermedades emergentes en cítricos’, organizada por Cajamar Caja Rural y la Asociación de Citricultores de la Provincia de Huelva en colaboración con el IFAPA y el IVIA, tendrá lugar el día 26 de junio a las 9:00 horas en el Hotel Precise Resort El Rompido (Carretera de Cartaya a El Rompido, km 7, El Rompido, Cartaya – Huelva).
