El objetivo general del proyecto GOCITRUS es la identificación y elección adecuada de variedades de cítricos como la base principal para una correcta gestión y planificación varietal y de la producción. Con ello se pretenden mejorar las perspectivas de futuro de la industria citrícola. Para ello se prevé crear una unidad de identificación varietal de cítricos basada en un protocolo inequívoco apoyado en la base de datos genómicos Citruseq. También se va a diseñar una APP que sirva como herramienta de apoyo a la hora de seleccionar una variedad, considerando las características particulares de cultivo y facilitando una información objetiva y adecuada.

Presentamos el cultivo de quinoa como alternativa al cultivo de cereales de secano. Creemos en este supercultivo, que se adapta a condiciones de estrés hídrico, y ofrece rendimientos muy interesantes en el mundo agrario.

En este mes, volvemos con este cultivo, mediante la realización de estudios edafoclimáticos de las parcelas de interés, y proponemos los ensayos de las variedades más adecuadas de este superalimento.

Fruit Attraction 2017, organizada por IFEMA y FEPEX, abrirá sus puertas del 18 al 20 de octubre de 2017 en los pabellones 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 y 10, con una previsión de participación de más de 1.500 empresas de toda la cadena de valor del sector hortofrutícola. Un dato que supone un incremento del 20% respecto a la exitosa convocatoria de 2016.

Consolidado como uno de principales eventos internacionales del sector, su celebración en el mes de octubre, momento clave para la planificación de campañas y cerrar los acuerdos de aprovisionamiento entre proveedores y comercializadores de fruta y hortaliza, es uno de los factores determinantes.

Más de 600 profesionales reflexionarán y debatirán sobre el sector en el 5º Congreso de Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias Andalucía, los días 4 y 5 de octubre en IFEJA.

La próxima semana, el Palacio de Congresos de Jaén (IFEJA), acogerá el 5º Congreso de Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias de Andalucía, el cual congregará a más de 600 profesionales de toda la región y del ámbito nacional. Concretamente, a lo largo de los días 4 y 5 de octubre, el sector agroalimentario y cooperativo reflexionará y debatirá sobre los retos presentes y futuros, de la mano de ponentes de reconocido prestigio.
